May 21 (Bloomberg) — Herbert Hainer, chief executive officer of Adidas AG, talks with Bloomberg’s Andrea Catherwood about the company’s sales targets for the soccer World Cup and in China. Adidas, which outfits 12 of the 32 teams playing in the World Cup that begins June 11 in South Africa, expects record sales of more than 1.3 billion euros (5 million) for the football category this year.

How do Americans feel that in the king of Sports WORLDWIDE, Football aka soccer , USA has always been weak?

I mean teams like Italy , Brazil ,Spain ,Germany ,Argentina , England ,France have been great but USA has never won anything in the king of sports!
Baseball and American Football none plays worldwide and none cares!
Now sports like Rugby ,cricket ,volleyball and basketball everyone does and excluding basketball in the rest USA fails too!
But back to my main question how so and you are so weak in the most important and popular sports of the planet?

Teams like Italy, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Argentina and Germany also produce hell of good players. Is it the coaching, european clubs understand the game better or what? The USA needs to put together a travel tour to Europe and South America and play against the best. I’m tired of hearing yess we beat Mexico we beat Aruba, we beat Honduras..
